Use the Hammer without Bricking the Elevator

The hammer moves and deletes tiles, but new placements only stick inside the elevator. Shop price is 150 coins. It sells for 15.

Builder starts with a hammer and two Storage Pots. Everyone else buys it from the elevator shop for 150 coins, or votes it in for free. It sells for 15 coins. A hazards article that says the hammer costs 15 coins matches the sell value, not the shop price. Use 150 to buy and 15 if you are liquidating the tool.

It is a 2-star tool. The tooltip jokes about being a hammer. Range has no distance limit while you can see the tile. After you select it, you can keep the selection even if a wall breaks sight. Swapping off the tool cancels a move.

Two buttons

Move Tile shows a preview only you can see. Green is a legal spot. Red buzzes and will not place. Placements are allowed inside the elevator, including a second elevator floor if you have unlocked one. You cannot drop a moved tile back out into a hallway.

Delete Tile removes the tile with an explosion sound. You cannot delete the Map Table or the Ore Seller. Deleting a Storage Pot or a Kiwi nest spills the contents. Deleting a Planter or a pot that holds a growing carrot destroys the carrot.

Glass windows are not this tool. Those need a Glass Breaker. Employee Negligence is shattering a window. Team Sabotage is shattering your own glass gate. Repair Crew is fixing that gate afterward.

Defenses that fit the rules

Because you can only place inside the elevator, barricades belong at the cabin threshold, not in a random hall.

Bookshelf V: move two tall bookshelves to the elevator door and angle them into a V with a slit a player can sidestep through. Wide entity hitboxes stop. First person helps you slip the gap.

Pillars: a single-pillar row can take up to four pillars to close a door. A double pillar covers more width.

Thorns: delete the bushes in the choke you actually walk. Some bushes grow back. Clear the door and the vent mouth first.

Kiwi nest, the safe version

  1. Find the nest while the bird is calm. Floor 6 and up.
  2. Move Tile the whole nest into the elevator. A bird sitting on it follows or comes with the nest.
  3. Finish the Coin Meter with normal ore. Do not delete the nest early or she stays hostile on the floor.
  4. In the last seconds before intermission, Delete Tile. Three eggs drop in the cabin and the bird despawns with the floor change.

Badges that require the move

  • Decorator: move a decoration, such as a naturally spawning fountain, into the elevator.
  • Bear5 Alert!!!: in the Facility warehouse room, move the Bear5 object into the elevator. Picking it up by hand is not the documented method.
FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What are you actually trying to do in Fatal Floors?

Ride the elevator, loot the four wings for ore, and fill the Coin Meter at the Sell Bin before the elevator leaves. Floor 1 is always the Facility, with five Iron Ore, only the Blob, and an 8-credit quota.

Can you kill the monsters?

No. Entities are not damaged by tools. You evade them, break line of sight, hide in vents, or shut a wing gate. A Go-Kart horn can scare a Cave-Crawler, and a gate slammed in its face leaves it idle.

Which class should a new player unlock first?

Chef or Hoarder. Chef starts with a campfire, ham, and carrot. Hoarder starts with extra bag space, bonus money, and a Gold Ore. Beginner has 100 HP and no items.

Are there working codes?

No working or expired code strings were found, and no in-game code box has been documented. Reward text from other Roblox games is not a Fatal Floors code.

How do you revive a teammate?

A living player uses a Reviver syringe on the fallen player's head. The syringe is consumed and the player returns at full health. It cannot revive you in a solo run. A dead player can also pay 45 Robux within 30 seconds.
