What is Bone Hound?
Bone Hound starts on Floor 6 and is reported through Floor 9, with a screen warning that a dangerous entity was detected. It deals 50 HP per hit. Wander speed is about 20 studs per second and chase is about 30, which is faster than an unassisted player. After a hit it pauses about one second. A calm patrol lasts about 90 seconds, then it sleeps about 20 seconds. During sleep it does not damage you and touching it does not wake it. Snoring is the tell. While calm it can miss a player hidden in thorns. It is not duplicated on Floor 11. It should never be allowed into the elevator, because it does not despawn mid-floor. Prey is the encounter badge. He Doesn't Bite is petting it asleep. Research text calls it a mine predator that hunts for sport and overran an extermination attempt. Beginner health is 100 HP, so two hits are fatal.
